From Anxious to Radiant
Before {Becoming} Her I was like a tiny caterpillar, inching my way through life, only able to focus on the mud underneath me. Looking up to the sky from underneath the shadows of the leaves of others’ joy I felt stuck, unable to climb out or up, or overcome.
Then a shimmer of sunshine highlighted a perfect place to curl up and rest. I felt safe, cocooned, held. It was the essence of Becoming Her surrounding me. As I felt safe to be me without the outside world watching me or I them, I began to shed the old stories, beliefs, shame. Everything that was holding me back was no longer tethering me.
I now felt free to fly. I grew into my wings and started to use them. I am Her; vibrant, full of color, wings spread wide with confidence. I navigate my own flight path and the sky continues to open up with possibility as my journey is just beginning.
